Relaunch of The Pavilion Website: May 2017.
The Pavilion School has had a public web site for a few years, with statutory information about the school, articles and pictures it's activities and events and guidance for students and parents.
However, feedback from staff, students, parents and others prompted Kevin Matthews to initiate a review of the website. This review suggested three main areas for improvement:
- improved ease of use
- additional support and updates to information for parents and staff and
- compliance with new statutory requirements
Richard Crick and Adam Justice-Mills carried out the review, with guidance from e4education and OFSTED. After a discussion by senior staff, Jo Kelly gave the go-ahead for design changes to be made.
e4education created a development area where the new designs could be programmed and tested before implementation, and provided techincal support. Adam implemented the new site structure and Kevin coordinated the updating of the web site content.
The new design went live early in May 2017, with content updates being made gradually after that.
